Jon Payne |

Senior Pastor

As the senior pastor of Redemption Hill Church, Jon oversees the theological vision and Sunday preaching of the church and provides leadership to the pastoral team and staff.

Additionally, Jon serves on the Leadership Team of Sovereign Grace Churches as the director of church development. In this role, he is responsible for providing resources and care for Sovereign Grace’s regional leaders and developing resources to serve and support Sovereign Grace pastors.

Jon has been in pastoral ministry since 2005, having served on staff in Gilbert, Arizona before planting Redemption Hill Church in 2013.

He and his wife, Lory, live in Round Rock with their four children who give them endless new moments of gratefulness and laughter.

Ken Mellinger |

Pastor

Ken serves as a pastor at Redemption Hill Church and oversees the land and building search, various administrative matters, and a number of community groups. After serving as a pastor at Living Hope Church in Middletown, PA, for 32 years Ken and Beth relocated to Round Rock in 2022.

Ken and Beth married in 1977, were blessed with 4 children, and they added 20 grandchildren to their family last time they counted.

Reese Prater |

Ministry Intern

Reese serves as a Ministry Intern at Redemption Hill Church. He helps coordinate the Sunday Morning Worship and oversees our G2 and Advance ministries. Reese completed his undergrad in Organizational Leadership at Texas A&M Commerce in 2023.

He and his wife, Abi, can usually be found trying out new coffee shops around Georgetown.

Jason Nolte |

Church-Planting Resident

Jason began a church planting residency at Redemption Hill Church in 2024. He is a trained biblical counselor and has been involved in ministry for the past 30 years, including planting and pastoring a church in the North Texas area.

Jason and Mary were married in 1993 and have been blessed with six children and two grandchildren. When not spending time with family, they enjoy taking care of their cattle ranch in central Texas.
